Hiltgen & Brewer, PC takes their obligation to social justice as seriously as their obligation to civil justice. The Firm has a history of contributing time and funds to various community causes. H&B provides monetary and people resources to community organizations such as the Infant Crisis Center, Habitat for Humanity, City Rescue Mission, Legal Aid of Western Oklahoma, Trinity Legal Clinic and many of the Annual Oklahoma County Bar Association food and clothing drives.

For the last few years Firm employees have donated their lunch hours to serve lunch to the homeless. The City Rescue mission serves as a home for up to 850 homeless people during the months of November and December. This is a great experience for those who volunteered last year and hopefully for many seasons to come. They also select a family living at the shelter for giving of Christmas gifts. The family provides them with their wish list and with the donations from the employees they make their wishes come true.

H&B families have also contributed unwrapped stuffed animals, blankets, hats, coats, gloves, mittens, shoes, soccer balls, basketballs, personal hygiene items and Bibles to give to those who have very little.

Firm employees are compassionate volunteers ready to meet any need. It seems like everyone who has played any part in these events has been richly blessed. As stated by a City Rescue Mission employee: Hiltgen & Brewer is compassion in action.
